Kind and reliable, blankets can become a house, a hug or a rag to clean up all of life's mistakes.  They’ve shaped our sensory obsession with textiles from the time of our births.The struggle to understand and expand upon this relationship is the basis for La Douzaine.

Small batches and maker’s dozens are the output of unique projects, related through their exploration of materiality. From linens to clothes, hand woven to digital prints, small ventures in manufacturing to hand sewn items – limited editions will launch from time to time.

La Douzaine believes in supporting maker-culture and the revival of a forgotten textile industry.  All experiments are made with a collaborative spirit and the hopes of crafting a new story.
